Code analysis of a control system

Objective

The control system operated by the client underwent a database refactoring and extensive code changes in 2019. Until the end of 2021, work took place exclusively in the test environment. At the first deployment into the quality assurance environment, functional problems became apparent. ReqPOOL's task was a careful examination of the system by creating targeted documentation of the current release candidate and a comparison with the production system. The goal was to uncover why the system was not functional and to draft recommendations for correcting the emerging defects.
