Process survey production

Objective

Grüne Erde is currently introducing the ERP system odoo company-wide. To integrate cross-site production operations into the new ERP system, the goal is the analysis and detailed capture of the production processes and the derivation of requirements for the ERP system to transform the AS-IS processes into TO-BE processes.

Approach

• Survey of the existing IT landscape and the production environment.
• Capture and evaluation of all existing cross-site AS-IS production processes, from product development and manufacturing through to QA.
• Harmonization and standardization of the existing processes into optimized, ERP-standard-oriented TO-BE processes.
• Documentation of functional and non-functional requirements for the ERP system in production
• Effort estimation and overview of solution alternatives

Result

• AS-IS processes in Adonis (BPMN)
• AS-IS system landscape in production
• User stories documented in the odoo project module (ERP project workspace)
• TO-BE processes following the odoo system standard incl. fit-gap analysis of the deviations
• Cost estimate for implementing the TO-BE processes
• Alternative courses of action (standard systems covering the requirements vs. in-house development of ERP plugins)
