Repositioning and transformation into an agile organization

Objective

The goal of repositioning IKT Linz GmbH is to become the digital office and digital administration of the city of Linz. For this reason, IKT Linz carried out a project with ReqPOOL under the title IKT 202X: defining a new agile organizational form and the transformation required for it, mapped in a roadmap.

Approach

In a first step, the strengths and weaknesses of the existing organization were analysed and the current contents of the corporate strategy sharpened. Building on this, different organizational forms were presented and discussed. Through best practices, ReqPOOL provided a practice-oriented view of the topic. Together with the core team, a new agile organizational form for IKT Linz was defined based on the company's strengths, enabling customer-oriented, future-proof services. A corresponding transformation roadmap was outlined and planned in implementable phases.
