Specification project for a digital levy system

Objective

The goal of this project is the specification of a future-oriented, audit-proof and legally compliant solution for the tourism levy. The specification focuses on process optimization and automation, integration of central IT applications and digital communication with all parties involved.

Approach

• Detailed business analysis of the processes of all tasks arising in the state revenue office for administering the Salzburg tourism act
• Analysis of technical solution options considering the organizational and legislative context of the system
• Definition of a TO-BE target picture from the findings of the AS-IS analysis, considering automation and optimization potential
• Development of solution options for the technical implementation of the requirements
• Interface and environment analysis incl. creation of a system context diagram and a concept for roles and permissions

• Scope document incl. process models and mock-ups covering various use cases
• Requirements catalog describing the use cases and interfaces
• Knowledge collection
• Functional specification
• Preparation of the results in a management presentation
