Supporting several sub-projects within the Redispatch Plus project

Objective

Due to the new congestion management regulations, the transmission system operator is obliged to implement and introduce a uniform redispatch regime (Redispatch 2.0). This project was therefore commissioned to carry out the corresponding process adaptations and the IT changeover within the organization. The project is called “RDPro”.

Approach

• A successful EU tender with two lots was prepared and executed
• Supporting the “RDPro” project as IT architects to successfully integrate the project into TenneT's system landscape
• Taking over the IT project management of “RDPro” with a focus on stakeholder management, vendor steering, operations preparation and acceptance coordination
• Creating further changes — specifically identifying and preparing processes, gathering functional and non-functional requirements, conducting a market analysis, accompanying the bidder presentations and supporting the refinement of the requirements
• Providing a test sub-team: test execution, defect analysis and implementation support for the redispatch regime (Redispatch 2.0) and the software developed in “RDPro”
