Objective
- The goal of this project was to create a comprehensive AS-IS picture of all IT systems for passenger information and sales.
- A common understanding of the various systems was to be built and a forward-looking collaboration model developed.
- This was to create the basis for a more efficient and coordinated use of the systems in the future.
Approach
- Numerous workshops with the people responsible for the respective systems
- Work shadowing — documenting the workflows through direct observation
- Classification of the systems in a common framework (OBASHI)
- Workshops to develop an optimal collaboration model
- Organization and execution of quality assurance workshops
Result
- The result is a comprehensive inventory of the existing systems and a common understanding of the various systems and their interactions.
- In addition, a forward-looking and efficient collaboration model is to be designed.
