Setup and establishment of IT governance
Objective
- Efficient IT governance is to be developed within Wiener Linien.
- In the course of this, coaching of the CIO is desired, covering focus topics such as bringing about IT-related decisions, building an architecture board, managing the IT budget, managing data and implementing agile practices in the company (SAFe).
Approach
- Several working sessions to develop and delineate IT policies
- Creation of a result document summarizing all contents in a structured, clear way
- Advice on building and maintaining the committee structure for a strategic, regulatory, tactical and operational level
- Support and advice in setting up a management-ready ruleset
- Support in following the phased plan for implementing IT governance at Wiener Linien
Result
- The result is IT policies that are introduced in the organization and lived by all employees.
- Furthermore, a committee structure for monitoring, introducing and improving the IT policies is established in the organization.
